The program will feature the debut of Helios Camerata, Portland’s newest chamber orchestra, performing works by Britten, Lopez, and Rossini.

The Gemini ProjectThe Gemini Project begins its exploration of percussion galaxies with new works by Andy Akiho, Peter Klatzow, Steve Reich, Fredrick Anderson, Robert Marino, and a new work by Gemini founder Sergio Carreno.

Sons of the Soil
mousai REMIXOverlooked but not forgotten, the composers on this concert deserve an audience, and we’re here to deliver. The program features music by J. Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, Florence Beatrice Price, and Daniel Bernard Roumain. Presented in celebration of Black History Month.
I Spat in the Eye of Hate and Lived
Pyxis QuartetThe brutal assault last year on Portland’s MAX train sent shock waves across the country. Our concert is an artistic response to this tragedy, featuring commissioned works by Oregon composers Kenji Bunch, Texu Kim, Bonnie Miksch, and Nicholas Yandell. Their music will accompany new poetry written and narrated by attack survivor, Micah Fletcher.
The World According to Richard
45th Parallel Chamber OrchestraThe program features three virtuosic works by the iconic composer that are rarely heard in Portland, including Duett Concertino, Cappriccio, and the magnificent Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme.
