PROGRAM NOTES
We’re saddened to hear the news of the passing of a true Oregon hero, composer Tomáš Svoboda. His contributions to the cultural community of Portland are beyond measure, and his genius will live on in his remarkable catalog of brilliant musical compositions. Our condolences to his family during this difficult time. As a tribute to Tom, we'll be performing his gorgeous Chorale during this concert. Rest in peace, Tom.
