Concerts

For our 41st concert, we’ve invited Boston-based drummer Cristián Tamblay to join the Pyxis Quartet for a unique performance of the finale from Bartok’s String Quartet No. 4. The program also features Caroline Shaw’s brilliant Entr’acte, and the piece that inspired her to write it, Joseph Haydn’s marvelously eccentric Minuet and Trio from his String Quartet in F major, Op. 77, No. 2.
