Summer Serenade
Brahms’ Second Serenade is the perfect way to welcome summer, a chamber orchestra-sized study in symphonic writing that is stunningly beautiful. The program also features the world premieres of new music by Nina Shekhar and Marco-Adrián Ramos, commissioned by the Gabriela Lena Frank Creative Academy of Music.
Dear friends: As artists, we can’t stay silent as the insanity of mass shootings has become an almost daily occurrence. We must do better, so we’re donating all proceeds from this concert toward the Uvalde Strong Survivors Fund.
